In order to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the medical field among SCO member states, the “SCO Window” – the 4th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum on Hospital Cooperation was held in Wuhan on December 22nd. A series of medical and health platforms were launched on the Forum. Three of them were led by Union Hospital, which are the Hubei Provincial Center of SCO Telemedicine Cooperation Platform, the Internet Hospitals Platform and Hospital Management Platform under the SCO Hospital Cooperation Alliance. These three platforms will connect medical institutions of SCO member states to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of telemedicine, construction of Internet hospital, and hospital management, joining hands to protect the health for all. The construction of the platforms has received positive response from domestic and foreign medical institutions, and there have been more than 50 member institutions so far.
