Brief Introduction: Founded in 2008, the laboratory now focuses on research in gene targeted therapy, protein targeted therapy, cell targeted therapy and molecular imaging targeted diagnosis. The research base has established a well-equipped public research platform, a high-level analytical technology platform with flow cytometry, high performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry and the service system including an experimental animal center, a computer network center, a library, etc. The laboratory unites with the domestic first-class biological targeted therapy research institutions,such as the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Institute of Hematology, PET/CT Center, Hubei Stem Cell Research and Application Center (including GMP Conditional Cell and Genetic Engineering Center), Sino-German Stem Cell Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Ion Channel Research Center, Hubei Clinical Medical Research Center of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, etc., which aim to carry out systematic and in-depth research on the discovery of important genes, proteins and molecules related to cancer and major cardiovascular diseases, as well as their regulatory pathways, modes of action, disease targeted therapy and drug screening, and have made important research progress.
