Association Standard "Requirements of Pathological Datasets for Assisted Diagnosis of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)" Officially Released

Time:Mar 24, 2022

On March 7, the association standard "Requirements of Pathological Datasets for Assisted Diagnosis of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)" (Standard Number: T/CSBME 051-2022) was officially published on the National Association Standard Information Platform.

This association standard specifies the requirements of pathological dataset design, sample collection and processing, data collection, data preprocessing, dataset management and maintenance, etc., for assisted diagnosis of CML. It is applicable to algorithm model training, model validation, performance test, clinical evaluation, and quality control in the research & development for assisted pathological diagnosis product of CML.

The establishment of this association standard provides a direction for screening and constructing effective standardized datasets, and is expected to further promote the development of industrial standards for hematological disease datasets, as well as the research and clinical transformation of intelligent diagnosis products for hematological diseases.

This group standard project was officially approved in May 2020. With Prof. Hu Yu, President of Union Hospital, as the leading expert, led by Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, a total of 47 clinical, pathological and artificial intelligence experts from 32 hospitals including Union Hospital, 2 research institutes and 7 enterprises worked together to draft this group standard and conducted technical validation.
